1. Chart Types

• Candlestick Chart: Displays the open, high, low, and close prices for a specific time period.

• Line Chart: Shows the closing price over a specific period.

• Bar Chart: Similar to candlesticks but represented as bars.

Example Chart: A basic candlestick chart highlighting bullish and bearish candles.

2. Trend

• Uptrend: A series of higher highs and higher lows.

• Downtrend: A series of lower highs and lower lows.

• Sideways/Range-Bound Trend: Prices move between two horizontal levels.

Example Chart: Highlight an uptrend using trendlines connecting higher lows.

3. Support & Resistance

• Support: A price level where buying interest is strong enough to prevent the price from falling further.

• Resistance: A price level where selling interest is strong enough to prevent the price from rising further.

Example Chart: Draw horizontal lines at key support and resistance levels.

4. Pullback and Fibonacci Retracement

• Pullback: A temporary reversal in the direction of the prevailing trend.

• Fibonacci Retracement: Key levels (23.6%, 38.2%, 50%, 61.8%, and 78.6%) to predict the potential retracement areas in a trend.

Example Chart: Apply Fibonacci retracement on an uptrend and highlight price reactions at key levels.

5. Breakout

• Breakout: Occurs when price moves above a resistance level or below a support level with increased volume.

• False breakouts are common; look for confirmation with volume or retests.

Example Chart: Show a breakout above resistance with volume spikes.

6. Channels

• Ascending Channel: Price moves between two parallel upward sloping trendlines.

• Descending Channel: Price moves between two parallel downward sloping trendlines.

• Horizontal Channel: Price oscillates between two horizontal trendlines.

Example Chart: Highlight a descending channel with support and resistance lines.
